Unable to install on Android TV Oreo

I was able to install Termux from Google Play onto my Shield TV and it works great so far, but when I try to purchase Termux:Boot the Play Store site says it's not compatible with my device.

Guess I can uninstall and start again with the F-Droid version but I'd also like to support the developer.

+1! I would also would like to support the developer and get it from the Google Play. I couldn't install the F-Droid version, did you have any luck?

+1 I need this as well please allow installation on Android TV Termux regular can already be installed on it!

+1 Same here with Nvidia Shield TV Pro. I'd love to buy several of the Termux addons - in fact prob all of them, but it does not look possible. It would be good to know the reason for the supposed incompatibility.

Is it related to Nvidia being 64bit perhaps? Or is it an issue with Oreo?

I installed the f-droid version on Viture One Neckband (Android TV). Doesn't boot. Is it limited by the OS?
