[Bug]: Voice keyboard always shows up since Android 14

Problem description

This always shows up at start, or if I switch away from Termux, and return, it will be back. I have to type the microphone icon, then hit the back button to make it disappear, or disable voice typing within Gboard globally.

The voice typing DOES actually work, but I've got no need for that.

Steps to reproduce the behavior.

I believe this started with Android 14 Beta 3

What is the expected behavior?

This might be nice for someone, but if there's no way to configure the feature per app, then Termux should ignore this feature entirely

I recently installed Android 14 beta myself and started experiencing the same behavior as described. Clicking the microphone button then hitting the back button results in the strange bar going away. But if you leave the app and come back the weird bar just returns. Or anytime you close the keyboard and then reopen the keyboard.

I cannot reproduce it in android 14 avd, could be difference in preload gboard version installed by default. It's more likely a gboard issue, than a termux issue. Are you both using enforce-char-based-input=true?

I have tried with and without the option set and the only thing it changes is the microphone icon. The password suggestion prompt in the middle of the keyboard continues to persevere however.

i switched to the playstore version and it went away. i think it's just the older API causing the problem. :shrug:
