Can't switch on and off tabs properly

Firstly, awesome extension! Thanks a ton for building.

I have encountered a recurring issue where when the extension is enabled, turning on and off Gmail tabs such as Social or Forums has no effect.

Really, I'd much prefer to be able to turn off these tabs, however until (hopefully) you are able to support turning these tabs into their own bundles, I need to keep the tabs on!

Thanks again :)

Actually this was just a silly mistake from me - enabling/disabling tabs do in fact seem to be working fine.

Actually there is an issue, it's just harder to consistently replicate than I expected. Essentially when I enable or disable tabs, emails often don't show up in the correct tab at all. It requires me to take some drastic action like disabling the extension for them to show up.

Thanks for letting me know! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reproduce this reliably yet.

Have you tried refreshing the page to get the emails to show up, after changing the tabs in "Configure Inbox"? (In general, the extension may need Gmail to be refreshed after settings are changed.)

I also noticed on one occasion in Gmail with the extension disabled: After I added some tabs, I tried switching between two tabs. The Primary tab showed some emails that also appeared in the Forums tab (unexpected behavior). But after some time, those emails appeared only in Forums (as expected).

No worries at all!

Yes I have found it difficult to as well. Here is a test I just did in case this helps at all:

  1. Changed from Primary tab only to Primary and Forum tabs -> A forum-type email then appeared not only in the Forum tab but the Primary tab too and two bundles I had in the Primary tab disappeared along with all emails
  2. Waited a couple of minutes and used Gmail's refresh button -> The duplicate forum-type email disappeared but the missing bundles still did not appear
  3. Pressed Gmail's refresh button again -> One of the two missing bundles appeared in the Primary tab again
  4. Reloaded tab -> The other missing bundle reappeared, but only showing one email, I expected a dozen or so emails to show up
  5. Navigated away from and then back to the Gmail tab after a few moments -> The remaining missing emails appeared again

Thanks for that detailed breakdown! I'll have to do more testing to see what's causing this.

Also, to clarify my earlier comment, the refresh I was referring to is the page refresh (not Gmail's refresh button), just in case that wasn't clear.
