8.0.0 can't open a file through the Finder or the Dock

Contrary to previous versions, 8.0.0 doesn't allow to open directly a .srt file through the Finder and the Dock. This includes:

  • clicking on a .srt file while Jubler is the default app. It will launch Jubler 8, with a new window
  • dragging and dropping a file on the Jubler icon in the dock. It will do the same (new window, without any content)

The only way to open a subtitle file is to launch Jubler first, then to open it from the app.

My MacOS version is 14.3.

Thank you for the bug report. This is a known issue and I am currently working on it.

It is May and the problem is still the same. And going through this (see picture) just to open a file is really weird. Thanks if you can speed up the solution to make Jubler 8 work normally like e.g. Jubler 6. Thank you again Jubler

Any patches that could help speed up the procedure, of improving an open source and free product is welcome.
