Future of this project?

What is the future of this project? Should we invest time in it or is considered internally archived in favor of auto XLA and other frontends like JAX? Last release of the library is 2018.

While this project is not dead, I would not expect to see significant new features added.

Now that everybody wants to do inference of big models (LLaMA etc), would not model parallelism attract some interest again?
