Debug Check Fails While Opening .aup Files

Describe the bug.

1. Open .aup project
2. The "Importing AUP project files" window opens
3. Before completion, frequently immediately, popup appears [1]
4. Continue button results in immediate reappearance of popup; Stop button only way to proceed
5. Error only occurs on some projects, but always occurs on a project it has previously occurred on (if it breaks the first time, it'll break every time)

Expected behavior

Project will be opened properly so it can be resaved as an aup3

Additional context

The error is more likely to occur on projects with more than 2 audio tracks. Offending projects can still be opened in DarkAudacity just fine. Here's a screenshot of the "Show More" under the error popup:
