Hi, the main menu settings can be done in Astroid Template settings and not in the module itself. And for sidebar or footer menu you dont need the Astroid menu, just take the basic menu typ and chose the layout. Regards Peter

this module was introduced in Astroid Framework Version 2.6.6. I hope Sonny can explain why it is needed and why the above settings do not work in it.

This Astroid Menu Module is to be able to have another menu that will look exactly like the main menu based on Astroid classes and all. It permit to have another menu that will look and behave like the Main Astroid Menu without having to format it manually if using a Joomla Menu Module.

Hello, the sidebar view like shown above is only available if you set the Astroid header to this layout, see picture ... If you want to have a "normal" sidebar Menu or footer menu, you have to use the basic Joomla "MENU" and not the module Astroid Menu, see picture .. Regards Peter

It is necessary that in the astroid menu module you can select its type, as in the one/zero templates. in theory there are three of them, but in fact there are two: Horizontal=Stacked (since their functionality and appearance are the same) and Sidebar (which has a drop-down list of menu sub-items with “+” and “-”). Why not implement something like this in the astroid menu module? There is no need for such a menu in the footer, as in the header. We are talking about placing such a menu in the right or left sidebar.

I will do a test in the sidebar to see how it go.
