Add dismissible dropdown option

we have a need to add dismissible dropdown, user should be able to drop selection to of some part of UI, e.g. as we have it now without scale, on "X" we will drop selection:

Currently there is no such kind of option as I know.

hi! i would be thankful for info, when this feature might be added, my team asks me/ also now to use "no value" logic I add the extra empty value, which looks like empty line. Maybe you could suggest if another way is possible, and I just don't get it?
