you already have right click over channel / group / contact bot, add to folder, you really need another way?

Yes, because often I do not see a channel logo at the left, and need to scroll a lot.

There is the same feature within profile info.

Oh wait, this menu item will only be displayed if you have joined the channel. Otherwise, I don't even know how you intend to add a channel you are not a member of to a folder.
