"Shifts to Parentheses" is not cancelled by mouse clicks

I have the fantastic "Programmer Settings > Shifts to Parentheses" setting on, but it has an annoying quirk: When I hold shift and click the mouse (e.g. to select a paragraph of text so that I can copy it), if I do it too fast, Karabiner registers this as an isolated shift press and overwrites the text I was selecting with a left parenthesis :(

Is there some way I can fix this, maybe using private.xml? I would consider this behavior a bug in the "Shifts to Parentheses" setting but if there's something I can do to get it fixed temporarily I'd love to know about it

Sys info:

• OS X version: 10.11.6
• Karabiner version: 10.22.0
• Mac hardware: MacBook Pro (Mid 2015)
• Keyboard hardware: Built-in laptop keyboard. I also have this problem when I use my 10-key Apple Keyboard

" Shifts to Parentheses" use __KeyOverlaidModifier__ maybe go to 2nd page of Karabiner setting and change the timing there.
