IIRC this option should work only in builds with Qt 4.x.
In a next major release of EiskaltDC++ support of build with Qt 4.x will be removed and QML support will gone as well.

Also you may try `EiskaltDC++-2.4.2-8-macOS10.14` from `devel` builds.
