`bitwig-studio` won't launch after vulkan update

I've been using your script for a year now and it's been working great, but something about (I'm assuming) a recent Fedora update and I can't seem to be able to launch bitwig-studio. This is the output when running via CLI:

yiannis@workstation:~$ bitwig-studio

I am not quite sure how to proceed, so any advice would be more than welcome! Here is my system info:

OS: Fedora Linux 42 (Workstation Edition) / Wayland Kernel: 6.14.6-300.fc42.x86_64 DE: GNOME Shell 48.1 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core Processor GPU1: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Navi 23 [Radeon RX 6600/6600 XT/6600M] (rev c7) GPU2: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Raphael (rev c3)

EDIT1: I also attached the crash log after a fresh install of Bitwig Studio 5.3.8: bitwig-studio-jvm-crash.log

EDIT2: This crash also now occurs with 5.3.5, as well as kernel version 6.14.5 whereas it worked fine just a few days ago.

Same here after updating to the latest packages. Looks like some issue with the graphics libs, that can be resolved for now by downgrading them: sudo dnf downgrade vulkan-\*

I see... when in doubt, definitely a vulkan bug haha. Thank you so much!

Hi, currently on Arch, has this issue been resolved?

you can solve this issue by entering following command in the terminal:

echo skia-gl > $HOME/.BitwigStudio/graphics-backend

works on Manjaro as well

you can solve this issue by entering following command in the terminal:

echo skia-gl > $HOME/.BitwigStudio/graphics-backend

works on Manjaro as well

Also tested on Fedora 42 today, maybe this should be the default?
