Smooth(er) transition between stealthChop and spreadCycle

Hi there, i was looking and testing for this a lot but didn´t find a satisfactory solution on how to make a smoother transition between stealthChop and spreadCyle when the motor is running. It says in this video here that the PWM_AMPL param is supposed to make a more smooth transition, but in my setup it won´t. Somebody any experience or suggestions on this? Thanks
