Why do I have to pull the lfs separately when using lfs: 'true'

Just got bitten by this one. self-hosted runner, worked for a couple of months then suddenly one file was not pulled from git-lfs

Roborock Integration: Unable to reauthenticate after changing my account email

I get the same error message and I haven't changed anything. I guess my credentials expired. The error message is "The Roborock integration needs to re-authenticate your account"
