MS Mincho font to PDF

Hi all,

When converting a Word file created in Office 2016 using MS Mincho font to PDF using tcpdf and PhpWord, the characters become garbled and all turn into question marks. It doesn't occur consistently; when I enter the same content in a newly created Word file and specify MS Mincho as the font, there is no character garbling. The text itself consists of a few lines. I am not using any special characters.

Could this be an existing issue?
