Doesn't work (Linux)

Open rbits0 opened this issue 3 years ago • 9 comments

Elden Ring 1.08.1 GE-Proton7-41 KDE Neon 5.26 EldenModLoader 3.2

The mod loader doesn't work for me. I have successfully disabled EAC and have put the mod loader in the game folder, but when I launch the game, it just acts as if the mod loader is not installed, just in offline mode. I have the latest version of CameraFix and PauseTheGame in the mods folder, but neither of them work. I don't know if there are any logs in the game folder.

Try this WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8.dll=n,b" %command%

Isn't it WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" %command%?

Both work I'm pretty sure. You can also use winecfg to set the dll override

You're right, they both work. Thanks!

May I ask where do I put this in Lutris?

Look for an option called "environmental variables" or "envars" If there's two fields like "key" and "value," "WINEDLLOVERRIDES" is the key and "dinput8.dll=n,b" is the value.

Not 100% sure if something changed, but you're supposed to use "DLL Overrides" under "Runner Options". Just set the key to dinput8.dll and the value to n,b

edit: I'm stupid, that only works if you add games with the wine runners.
