Filter crashes when cutoff set high enough

For me when setting cutoff frequency somewhere above 10kHz at 48kHz sample rate makes the filter freeze and output NaN

Which filter mode? Or on both?

it does so on all filter modes. it seems like it works for a little while and then when the levet gets above a certain point, it freeze and output NaN this patch show the behavior: https://www.dropbox.com/s/r7ape18ds6xokn3/MusicViz-bug.v4p?dl=0
