Windows 11 no longer allows 0.5ms timer resolution?

Ever since i upgraded from Win 10 to Win 11, i had 2 issues. my network icon no longer shows in taskbar tray on right side no matter what i do and timer resolution no longer keeps my timer at 0.5ms, it goes to 0.5ms if i set it to that then it goes back to 1ms. Any fix? thanks!
