Windows application sometimes uses a lot of resources

Open wiiznokes opened this issue 3 years ago • 6 comments

I don't know why but after some time, the Windows app start to use 10% of CPU, while it normally use 1 or 2%. It happens when the app is connected, if we disconnect, it go back to normal. I was using USB and the app was minimized, but I think this happens even with WIFI.

Was any post-processing filter turned on? Those filters would consume more CPU than usual.

I think it was because my cable disconnect sometimes when I move it, and when it does, the app start to use more CPU for some second, so it's actually normal.

Hi, reopen this because my pc used 12% of the proc for AndroidMic even though I had no cable plugged in. But he stayed like that for several hours so it would be good to investigate on that. I haven't had time to do more testing yet.

Hey sorry just saw the message. 12% is definitely a lot. Did you turn on any noise cancellation filters? And btw I've been busy with other projects so may not be able to update this actively.

I don't think I had a filter on. And no worries, it's not a major bug anyway. I will try to debug it the next time I use it

Sounds good, thanks!
