[Suggestion] - Acceleration Tuning clarifications

Open he-pennypacker opened this issue 2 years ago • 0 comments

Hi there. I have a couple of comments on the Acceleration Tuning page which might help to clarify the guide for new printers.

  1. In the "Acceleration and jerk/junction deviation" section, there is a table where the various parameters of the test tower can be adjusted. In the Acceleration column, the gree text indicates suggested intervals for i3-style printers, and for delta-style printers. However, there is no information about how to figure out what style of printer you have.
  2. Likewise, in the same table, there is a Jerk Z column with "(delta only)" in the heading. What does this mean? Does this only apply to delta style printers? This is confusing as I think I have an i3 style printer, but the output of M503 produces this output, suggesting my printer has a value for Z Jerk.

Recv: echo: M205 B20000.00 S0.00 T0.00 X10.00 Y10.00 Z0.30 E5.00

Thank you
