Suggestion: Ruler for e-steps calibration

Thanks from one F1 fan to another for this website. I've been using this plus the SuperSlicer calibrations to keep my printer humming.

I just installed a new extruder and did the e-steps calibration. One think I've always found a little bit difficult has been accurately marking and measuring the extrusion.

This time I jumped into Illustrator and made a paper ruler. Cut it out, an fold along the center line. Lay the filament in the fold and slide it so that it touches the input of the extruder. It's 120mm long so make the mark with a sharpie. The leading edge of the mark will be exactly 20mm from the extruder.

Then do the extrusion and use the ruler to do the measurement. It has major divisions every 10mm and minor divisions every 2mm.
