signle select field breaks if validation error occurs on saving

Describe the bug When I want to change any names of signle entires. A validation error message raises. The db is not saving it. The whole app cant work with this field anymore without crashing.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Grid View
2. Right Click on Field with single seletion. Press edit
3. Sometimes when pressing save "validation error is coming"
4. i cloce the edit

Expected behavior The Field should just not save my chanes. Bur when I try to use it as a filter option. The app creahes.
