Thanks @tkarim. Next Please suggest a date when you can be part of this - to present what you'd like to share in such an extension. We need a title and abstract (in addition to the date / time).

I may be wrong, but it looks like Talia would like to understand how to publish use an existing extension rather than give a webinar on creating a new one. If this is correct, maybe a webinar that is a demonstration of publishing with an extension. Could show a couple of them, perhaps - Identification History, as a fairly simple one, and Audubon Media Description as a fairly popular one.

Hi @tucotuco I think @tkarim is interested in the Identification History extension. But, she is also interested in knowing more about creating Darwin Core Extensions.

There could be two webinars in all this. It would be good to know for sure which actually have a critical mass of interest, otherwise we can just document it.

Hi @tkarim - can you confirm for @tucotuco the interest in these topics? Is it your interest, or more broadly of interest to the paleo (specifically) and broader collections community?

debpaul avatar Jun 09 '18 15:06 debpaul

Yes, what John in his first response. I am interested in how to publish using an exiting extension. Determination history came up in one of the sessions at the Digital Data meeting last week so that would be of particular interest.

OK, good. So this is something we could show in documentation sooner than a webinar. In two parts maybe, how to prepare the data, and how to publish them together in IPT.

Previously listed webinar on extensions: https://github.com/VertNet/dwc-qa-manage/issues/22
