How to build tesseract and leptonica DLLs

Hello!

I was trying to build the latest version of tesseract and leptonica DLLs to use with charlesw/tesseract but I can't find any guide online. Your steps use cppan, is this still working? because I'm not sure where to get cppan. Can you help? Thanks!
