Cropped image sometimes shifted to the left

This happens when choosing an image from the library. I doesn't happen every time though, and I have tried with lots of different images - it can happen with all of them, except for landscape images.

The resulting image is also not according to the bounds of the cropping square in the first view (look at the bottom of the plate in the pictures).
