Synchronization unadvertently discards or either old or new data

Synchronization feature doesn't merge content, it discards the old content or the new content.

How to test it.

One:

1. Update the .org file (either manually or from new data added on a different browser/device).
2. Go to the browser, skip the Braintool window.
3. There add a new bookmark.
4. When the new bookmark is saved, the information on the .org file is overwritten deleting the updates it previously had.

Two:

1. Open Braintool.
2. Add new content.
3. Wait for synchronization from other browser/device.
4. Braintool asks you to refresh from that file.
5. Accept.
6. New data you just added vanishes from Braintool window.

Is it the intended behaviour, to just save and overwrite and not merge?
