Reminder of tasks yet to complete? (including self assigned tasks)

The ability to assign tasks is handy. Having an email sent to the person who you assign the task to is also great. And having tasks appear on a user's home-screen is helpful.

Is there currently a way to trigger a weekly (or monthly or ?) reminder email with a list of incomplete tasks? Including self-assigned tasks?

If this is not currently possible I might have a look at it.

Perhaps a reminder should also go to the person who assigned the task/s - so they know it is not yet complete (an may need to be assigned to someone else?)
