Add service components on the fly

Currently, if I'm editing a service run sheet and something I need isn't in the component library, and I want to add it to the library, I have to save the run sheet, go to the library page, add the new component, then resume editing my run sheet.

It would be valuable to be able to do this all within the run sheet editor (perhaps in a modal or popup).

Possibility: expand the "add ad-hoc item" feature so that after I've filled in the details of the ad hoc item I can think "actually I want to save this in the library" and tick a box to do that.
