Generate a report based on an 'expiry date

It would be handy to be able to generate a report based on an 'expiry date' - in effect potentially replacing the date reminder script using the report to email script instead.

At the moment I can't see a way to do this. We can only select date with a field that has an exact date 'within' x days of the day the report is executed. I think we would need the option to say x days ending y days before the date of the report being executed. Or something like that.

Or am I missing something.

The example I have in mind is if the date of when approval was given (for 'safe ministry with children' for example) gets entered in Jethro. And a monthly report would generate a list of anyone who was approved more than three years ago.
