Reports should be able to sort dates without taking years into account

Some of our people don't like putting the year down for their birthdays, for example. This throws the sorting of reports out completely! Would be ideal if we could have it sort just on day of month and month, without taking the year into account at all.

Conceivably it would be useful to be able to sort on year too, so this would have to be an option...

Could have "sort by" options = [Custom field 1 (chronological), Custom Field 1 (day & month), Custom Field 2 (Chronological), Custom Field 2 (day & month)] etc.
