Loads up and then quits

I was trying to save an article that has scripts asking you to sign-up or sign-in when visiting with a web browser, and also hide everything but the first paragraph. The popup won't go away if you run scripts and don't signup or in. If you block scripts, you can get around the soft firewall, and the scripts are what I'm guessing to be the reason the program quits to "this web page not available"
