PnPjs Console causes 'This extension may have been corrupted.' in MS Edge

Either version (Chrome Extension and MS Edge Extension) causes a This extension may have been corrupted. error message for SP Editor in MS Edge. The extension is automatically disabled. Chrome works fine.

Also, downloading the zip and manually adding it works.

Hmm, interesting, I cannot make this happen. What is your OS and the version of Edge? Thanks for reporting!

Microsoft Edge: Version 97.0.1072.69 (Official build) (64-bit) OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 21H2; build 19044.1466 image

It becomes corrupted as soon as I open the PnPjs Console

What happens if you press Repair?

It resets the extension to the original state, but opening the PnPjs Console causes it to become corrupted again :(
