`Alt` should be a supported key

Its overly restrictive to force which keys are modifiers and which aren't. A user should be able to define Alt as a single key for a hotkey.

This isn't our decision but up to the OS. At least Windows doesn't support keys as keys that are also modifiers. (please correct me if i'm wrong, maybe the discussions i found were wrong and i tested it incorrectly)

On MacOS, its completely valid to register a shortcut with only the Alt key (either right or left). At the very least, this should be supported IMHO @FabianLars

Nope, didn't look into it. I believe you when you say it's possible on macOS (which is why i re-opened the issue) but i cannot spend time on this myself atm.
