Default point size

I am using the viewer actively and it is great for giving me a quick view of the point clouds. However, i am getting really tired of adjusting the point sizes every time i open a new point cloud.

Is it possible to change the default point sizes so i don't need to adjust it after opening every file? I would use version 1.0 for this, however, in version 1.0 mesh is enabled by default, and instead of adjusting the point size, i instead need to disable mesh and enable points
