Column change issues

At the moment, if I am at a place on my home feed, and I accidentally tilt the phone it changes columns. When I go back to my home feed, it has lost the place, and shows the top.

Can it either

  1. Allow disabling the tilt sensor for column changes
  2. Keep the position for inactive columns

Perhaps there is a setting for (1), but I could not find it.

I couldn't reproduce "Tilt the terminal resets the scroll position of the column". Does it depend on the device used?
