Search input widget changes unexpectedly when clicking Go (Galaxy S2)

Strange behaviour on search text input widget on Galaxy S2.

Steps:

1. Open PropertyCross Android JQuery Mobile version
2. Tap on search text input widget
3. Type 'west'. The Samsung Keyboard suggests Westminster as one of the alternatives.
4. Tap on the Westminster suggestion. Text input widget now says 'Westminster'
5. Tap 'Go' button

Expected behaviour: 6. Search on 'Westminster' is performed

Actual behaviour: 6. Text input widget content reverts back to 'west'. Search on 'west' is performed, producing a list of locations starting with 'west'

I haven't seen this kind of behaviour in any other application / situation which I believe is an indication of an issue specific to PropertyCross.
