Windows 10/64bit rtl-sdr can't open device#0
On windows 10/64 bit, rtl-sdr device appears as #1 device#0 is actually bogus.
but the software tries to open #0 which fails.
Same here. Win 10 Creators Update, x64. SDRSharp works fine
Have you checked the device manager and see if the RTL-SDR driver is properly installed and recognized by Windows?
I also have spent time here. zadig.exe can be used to fix this. Problem arises when drivers are installed in windows 10 on bulk-in interface 1. Due to this rtl sdr is now visible as device 1 and anything looking for it on device 0 will fail. Solution is to reinstall driver on bulk-in interface 0 using zadig.exe (I have used the one provided with sdr#). There also a video on it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWyswHcE5dU
