Rendering delayed when returning to home

When using Olauncher with Android gesture navigation enabled, there is a delay between swiping up to go home and the home screen appearing. This is just long enough to make interaction cumbersome when trying to quickly switch between apps.

The delay only occurs when going home directly from an app. First opening the app switcher, then going home has no delay.
