UI Update Issue: App Drawer Not Visible After Alarm Wakes Screen
Description
When the phone screen is turned off and an app like an alarm wakes the screen, followed by the user turning on the phone manually, the app drawer fails to become visible when swiping up. While the drawer is functionally present (the keyboard shows and clicking where apps would be or typing an app name still opens the app), the UI elements are not rendering/displaying on screen.
Steps to Reproduce
- Turn off phone screen
- Allow an alarm or a reminder app to wake the screen
- Close the alarm/reminder and turn on the phone manually
- Swipe up to access app drawer
- Result: Keyboard shows but App drawer does not visually appear, though it is functionally present
Device Information

I already have the battery setting as 'Unrestricted' if that is what you are pointing to + the problem is not only about the app drawer because I have the pro launcher and the same happens with the widgets and notes pages (when I open the phone in the sequence described above the UI doesn't update although when I click on the screen the thing which is suppose to happens actually happens meaning the problem is only on the UI)
I have the same issue on my end but with Android Auto. When I leave my car and use the launcher for the first time, same behavior. And yes, I have the setting as Unrestricted on my end also
