discrete slide switching

When we use goto buttons NEXT and PREV, slides are scrolling smoothly. But when we use goto buttons with numbers and sequentially (first click on button 1, second click on button 2. third click on button 3...), slides are switching instantly and without smooth transition. This behavior you can watch using Google Chrome v.123, but its seems like ok on firefox like browser LibreWolf v.124
