[Feature request] - Liquify and Healing brush tools
Is this feature request related to a problem?
No, these would be new features.
Describe the best way to implement this.
Liquify (sometimes called Warp) and Heal are two brush-type tools, the first one allows to push or pull pixels around the specified point (usually has more than one mode), while the second removes defects and noise and it's similar to content-aware fill which PhotoDemon already has. Freeware software which have these tools include GIMP and Chasys Draw IES. I'm not an expert, so there may be other ways to achieve these features in PhotoDemon.
In Paint Shop Pro there are the Dodge, Burn, Smudge, Push, Soften, Sharpen, Emboss options to use as "Brush" - some similar options are available in PD but I do miss Smudge, Push and Soften as I use these in PSP to "blend" transitions, works quite well when you do it larger images and resize for the final version of the image, the "streaks" that may be left over usually disappear.

Thank you both 🙏 These are wonderful suggestions.
Additional paint tools in PhotoDemon were put on hold awhile back so in favor of an improved brush engine (with different brush shapes, dynamics, etc), but I think I'd prefer to add these tools before further brush engine work, since brush shapes are more of a fun, silly thing but these adjustment brushes are immediately useful to many.
I am currently working on a crop tool, but once that's done, I am considering making these adjustments brushes my next tool project. I will report back if/when I have something to show.
This would be amazing too, it's very handy to use to clear the rogue pixels after a precise cut with the pen → transform to selection
