Add compiler extension into `apache/thrift`

Are you going to add Julia compiler extension into master of apache/thrift?

I'm not sure if there are enough Julia users out there who are using Thrift. It would be better to improve the implementation and iron out issues with usage before submitting there.

I understand your concern about a small user base, but I do not see how it is an obstacle for merging into the master. On the contrary, thrift has a large dev/user base and some of them could contribute to julia plugin if it will be a part of master.

any updates on this? Would strongly invite someone to PR this to the official builds to increase usage of this.. AND of julialang in general

ill raise the issue again, easiest way for me to use/test this .. is to add it to the thrift compiler as an option... otherwise it's a lot of steps to get something to test this with.. which I would really like to do
