Search filter is not working peroperly

When search for country with country name OR country code it doesn't filter out and result the matched country in the top when there is preferred countries on the top

expected - when user try to search the country name OR code the preferred country should be removed and filtered result should be display

Also pls provide the event wen user debounce from the search input so we can handle our own to the preferred country array
