@nRaecheR you can clear the trash bin from the Calendar app. They share a common database.

**Update:** I deleted only calendar events from the trash bin, and now it opens correctly in the Tasks app too. And I see that a fix is already merged but...

There's a pull request which adds support for displaying tasks from OpenTasks app (#1279), but it's currently in pending status (not sure how long it will take to be merged).
