[Request] Toggle images
Would it be possible to create a keybind within ncmpcpp to toggle the image previews? It becomes difficult to look through certain views such as the media library or music visualizer
A toggle would be nice, I'm not sure if it's possible but I'll think about how it could be done.
Just to be sure, could you take screenshots of the difficulty you are having?
One possibility is to use the left-aligned hack that I added yesterday, which blocks one view (I used the visualizer) but makes all others fully usable. See: https://github.com/alnj/ncmpcpp-ueberzug/wiki/Setup#left-aligned-album-art
Here's a short clip: https://imgur.com/a/Oxm9x09
Initially, I'm using the playlist view and it looks great as is. Once I start switching to the different views, the image covers portions that make it difficult to see; particularly the Media Library view as I can no longer see the individual tracks. Perhaps I mis-configured ncmpcpp/ ueberzug-ncmpcpp? I'll take a gander at the left-align view for now
I definetly agree, that toggling would be really nice. It should be possible by creating a normal keybind in ncmpcpp, that triggers a shell script, which then kills or reactivates the ueberzug process.
