I don't understand how to use it

I'm new to linux and don't know json but i3-clever-layout seem really intresting but I don't understand how to use it.

Let's say I have a workspace with Visual Studio Code, Firefox, and a terminal. How would I save it and load it ? (I don't understand what is excepted after --run-command and --swallow-command)

Also try to use it and don't understand the exact use, I tried to use i3-clever-layout load test after saving under the same name, but it spawn weird terminals
