<c-w> to delete word in insert mode

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. When inserting URL, I find myself typing <c-w> <c-u> and <c-h> to no desired effect.

Describe the solution you'd like Implement Emacs-style keymaps (<c-w> to delete word, etc) in insert mode, which is familiar for most terminal users. Editing body is already launching a full editor; consistent keymapping among the panes will be nice.
