Override system font theme for window titles

Open ghost opened this issue 9 years ago • 2 comments

While the "Window Header - Plugins" has an option to not use the windowing theme and apply an alternate, the "Window Header - Title" does something different. Unfortunately if your bar is dark and the window title font is dark, it becomes unreadable (or nearly so).

An option to apply a font color when choosing the font would be admirable!

Hello, Late answer sorry, the title color should adapt automatically to the panel bar color. If it not the case, could we send us a snapshot ?

This is still an issue on xfce-4.16 and and gtk-3 panel/windowck-plugin. A workaround, which causes the title to reread the gtk-3 configuration and apply the defined colour of the theme is to just enable/disable 'Sync the font with the window manager.'. The problem with this workaround is that it has to be applied on every panel start/restart.

Let me know if you need more information about this.
