Is HeadlessUI for Vue abandoned?
TL;DR- I just want to know if you have plans on any further updates so that I can plan accordingly.
Can we get an official statement on whether or not HeadlessUI for Vue is abandoned?
This isn't a criticism or condemnation of the Tailwind Team. I acknowledge that open source is hard, expensive, and that you really don't owe us anything.
However, there have been no substantial updates to the package for over 2.5 years. Further, it has been 6 months since the last bugfix release. Given this length of time I think it would be appropriate to announce whether or not you plan to continue supporting the package or not.
That all said, I greatly appreciate the work that was put into this project regardless of its future.

Move to rekaui - we did use this in prod but we cannot continue with not even an update on the situation
Also u can consider daisyui as a very good alternative

I totally understand. I was trying to avoid lengthy discussion of alternatives in this issue since everyone has an opinion.
I think it might be more appropriate to start a discussion thread and link it here instead.
I would also like to understand why Vue users, regularly subscribed to tailwindui, are not allow to use catalyst UI kit (React only), neither (according to the license and term of use), build and publish a similar version for Vue...
