Moving task between user stories could be easier
Now the only possibility is to drag the task on the sprint-board to another story. Would be nice to have a dropdown on the task-view to select another user-story.
As far as I can see, moving tasks is now only possible when an issue is already in the sprint.
This is not intuitive

Thanks @florisvanwoudenberg
We have received more feedback about this so we added it to our enhancement TODO list. I hope we can work on it soon.

+1 Yep, we would like to have an option to move tasks between user stories without leaving a user story.

Just a tip: There is a feature to up-vote issues in Github, on the top right corner of the original comment:

Voting results (reactions) will be displayed in the bottom left corner:

This makes reactions counting easier for the project members, and comments area is clean and focused on real comments.
I'd really love to see this feature!

While it's already possible to move tasks between user stories which have been assigned to a particular sprint, it is actually not possible to move between those USes which are "pending" in the backlog (sorry for my terminology). I don't think that creating a fake sprint just so that I could move them would be particularly nice, and adding USes to an existing sprint just for the sake of a move is "weird" as well.
is this even possible at all (dragging between stories) in kanban mode? it always drags the complete story...?
it never happened, seemingly.
I confirm, it never happened although the initial post dates back to may 2015 (!!!). It is frustrating as it is very complicated and time-consuming to move user stories around and it is quite frustrating. Has it really been added to the enhancements TODO list ?
Any update on this?
@superalex indeed? Was it dropped? Any update would be nice (also a "we dont"...).
It would be really great, if you could implement this feature.
any word on this?
We have been doing some housekeeping work prior to Taiga6 upcoming release and we are reviewing old issues that we didn't correctly address back then. Taiga6 brings a significant UX/UI rework, and after the launch, we’ll come back to this issue to check it again. This time we will make sure to review it properly.
Thank you very much on behalf of the Taiga Team!
